Hello Conscious Human,

If you're reading this, it means you decided to pause for a moment. And today, that alone is a small act of rebellion. The world may still be rushing outside, notifications waiting, messages unopened. But for now, you're here. So take a breath.

The idea for Balance Phone came from the feeling that, at some point, technology started demanding too much of our attention.

We wanted our time back. Not by rejecting progress, but by rethinking it. Balance didn't start from nostalgia, it started from a question: What if the phone we need doesn't exist yet?

A phone that keeps what's essential. That makes room for silence. That respects attention instead of competing for it. That idea grew into Balance Phone; a project that puts people, presence and real life at the center.

The people who bring Balance Phone to life

Fifty years of innovation, and one question about what comes next. This is the road that led to Balance Phone.

A timeline from 1973 to today. The first handheld phone call in 1973, the first cell phone on sale in 1983, IBM Simon in 1994, the first flip phone in 1996, BlackBerry in 1999, the iPhone in 2007, the App Store in 2008, WhatsApp in 2009 and Instagram in 2010. Average screen time climbs from 3 hours a day in 2011 to 8 hours by 2022, then eases to 6.5 hours. The DumbPhone movement appears, and the first Balance Phone arrives in 2025.
