Some apps may download, but when you try to open them, Balance OS will restrict their use automatically with a block screen.
Yes! If you think an app or website has been wrongly categorized, you can send feedback through the block screen or contact us. Our team will review it and evaluate whether it fits Balance’s criteria.
Yes! Balance Phone allows internet browsing, but only through Chrome and Ecosia, which are currently the only browsers where our restrictions apply. Both work normally, with website blocking applied using the same criteria as for apps that contain harmful or addictive content.
Yes! Work, productivity and education apps are fully supported, as long as they don’t include blocked content inside the app or website. If they do, access to that content will be blocked.

Yes, Balance OS blocks access to all external links as a security measure. Since Balance OS cannot determine where a link leads in advance, all links are blocked by default to prevent users from accessing restricted content through them.
Yes, Balance OS is constantly evolving. While the core idea and main functions will remain the same, the interface, blocked features, accessibility and others may change in future updates.
Yes! You can pause your subscription directly from your account on our website.
Pausing your subscription means you will continue to have access to Balance OS until the end of your current billing period, but it will not renew automatically for the following year of subscription.
Unread shows the apps that currently have pending notifications. Instead of constantly checking everything, this section helps you quickly see where something requires your attention.
Library is the complete list of all apps installed on your phone. It works as your full app overview, while Essentials keeps your main interface minimal and distraction-free.
