If you've been following us for a while, this might sound strange: the new Balance Phone isn't the one you knew. We've made a naming change across the lineup, and before we go into detail, it's worth clearing that up.
The model that used to simply be called Balance Phone, designed for children and teenagers, is now called Balance Phone Kids. And the name Balance Phone now belongs to a completely new model: a smartphone for adults, more affordable than our Balance Phone Pro, but with the same philosophy as always: reconnecting with the world beyond the screen.
What the new Balance Phone is
The new Balance Phone is our mid-tier model: it sits between the Balance Phone Kids, aimed at families concerned about their children's safety, and the Balance Phone Pro, our high-end range. It's designed for adults who want a phone that's functional, minimalist, and with premium finishes.
Under the hood it runs a Samsung Galaxy A37, with Balance OS installed from the factory. In other words, same system, same approach as always: calls, messages, maps, camera, and the apps you actually use day to day, but with no social media, games, gambling, pornography, or streaming, which are blocked at the system level, not as a layer that can be uninstalled.
What's the difference from the Kids model? There, the focus is on younger users and giving parents peace of mind. Here we're talking about an adult who already knows what they want: a phone that won't steal their attention and lets them reconnect with what actually matters, at a competitive price.
Key updates and improvements
Since this is a new model, not an update to another one, there's quite a bit to cover on the spec sheet. Here are the features we like most:

The new Balance Phone is priced at €399, available now on our website. It comes with a 3-year hardware warranty and a 14-day return window in case it turns out not to be for you.
The Balance OS license stays tied to the device for its entire lifespan, so there are no fees or surprises down the line: you pay once and the system is yours for as long as you use the phone.
